Monday and Tuesday of this week I started to embrace the culture that now surrounds me. Tim and Kailie, the teachers leaving and who Ryan and I are now replacing, have been phenomenal hosts of the city. Detailed walks through the different sections of town, delicious dinners at their favorite restaurants and even small pieces of paper with little words and phrases (phonetically written out) have helped me make it a week.
The hotel room became my refuge, a place where I could still watch some English speaking TV (endless episodes of CSI and British made for tv movies) and attempt to get the much needed sleep after my brain had been going crazy all day taking everything in.

The convenient location of the hotel made it impeccably easy to squeeze every second of sleep throughout the day.
Still learning how to say hello and thank you. For some reason Korean just sounds weird coming out of my mouth, doesn't sound normal. I hear with practice I'll be speaking and reading in no time!
